These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Altiora Systems LLC, a Virginia limited liability company that operates Corrally ("Corrally," "we," "us," or "our"), and govern your use of the Corrally mobile app and the website at corrally.com (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, such as 16 in parts of the EU) to use Corrally. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
2. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at contact@altiorasystems.com if you suspect unauthorized use. You may delete your account at any time — see corrally.com/delete-account or the in-app option under Settings → Account → Delete account.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Post or share content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, threatening, defamatory, sexually explicit, or that promotes violence or self-harm.
- Harass, bully, impersonate, or threaten other users, or invade their privacy.
- Post spam, scams, or unsolicited commercial content, or artificially inflate engagement.
- Infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
- Upload viruses or malicious code, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems.
- Scrape, harvest, or collect data about other users without their consent.
- Use the Service in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
Zero tolerance for abuse. Corrally has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You can report content or block users in the app. We review reports and may remove content or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, typically within 24 hours of a report.
4. Your Content
You retain ownership of the content you create and share on Corrally ("Your Content"). By posting Your Content, you grant Corrally a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute it solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service. This license ends when you delete Your Content or your account, except for content others have already shared or copies retained for legal or backup purposes.
You are solely responsible for Your Content and represent that you have the rights necessary to share it and that it does not violate these Terms or any law.
5. Corrals & Community Conduct
Corrals are communities organized around races and events. Corral organizers and members are responsible for their own conduct and content. Corrally does not organize, sponsor, or guarantee any race, event, or meetup discovered through the Service, and is not responsible for the accuracy of third-party event information.
6. Health & Safety Disclaimer
Corrally is a social and discovery app, not a medical, coaching, or training service. Endurance sports carry inherent risks. Always consult a qualified professional before beginning or changing any training or competition, and train and compete at your own risk. You are responsible for your own safety when meeting other users or attending events.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, logos, and the "Corrally" name, is owned by Corrally and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the Service except as permitted by law.
8. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on and links to third-party services (such as Apple, Google, and Supabase) and may surface third-party event information. We are not responsible for third-party services or content, which are governed by their own terms.
9. App Stores
You obtain the Corrally app through the Apple App Store or Google Play, and your use is also subject to those stores' terms. Apple and Google are not parties to these Terms and are not responsible for the Service. Where you obtained the app from the Apple App Store, Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them.
10. Suspension & Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including content licenses already granted, disclaimers, and limitations of liability — will survive.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that information found through it is accurate.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Corrally and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so some may not apply to you.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Corrally and its operators from any claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from Your Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or any law.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. To the extent permitted by law, disputes will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Virginia, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
